Out-of-State Patients Seeking Facial Plastic Surgery in Austin, TX
Understand, Respect, Empower, Deliver
When it comes to cosmetic surgeries that alter the appearance of the delicate area of our face, which is central to our identity, there are two crucial truisms to consider. The first main truth is that it is worth it to save up for top-level care. The second is that seeking a highly qualified surgeon who provides excellent, compassionate service is critical.

Planning Your Stay in Austin, TX
We want your stay to be as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. Use the following information to guide you as you plan the details of your visit for the best experience.
Post-Surgical Follow-Ups
Plan to stay in town for a minimum of 8 days, preferably 10, with the ability to extend to 14 days if needed. This ensures you can receive the full extent of care necessary and that your recovery is as smooth as possible.
Within the first week after your surgery, you will have at least two or three in-person follow-up appointments to monitor your recovery.
You will have direct access to Dr. Weinfeld after hours and on weekends. You will also have close communication with the office during business hours should you need assistance or have any concerns. We are here to support you every step of the way, and we know it’s important for you to be able to reach us at any time.
Caretaker or Companion
It is not safe for anyone to undergo extensive surgery alone. Come with a companion who can help support you or make arrangements if you know someone locally.
If you need help finding qualified medical assistants, our staff has connections and will be happy to assist in arranging a caretaker for your post-operative recovery. Caretakers help with transportation after surgery, hygiene, wound care, picking up prescriptions, groceries, and meals, and general assistance.
Travel Insurance
Getting travel insurance is highly recommended in case you need to extend your stay. This is sometimes offered as a benefit with credit cards or is attainable through various airlines.
Look for flights that are not restrictive about departure dates, both coming to town and returning home. Flexibility allows for the ideal care and a smooth, stress-free recovery.
We urge you to consider travel insurance to protect your investment in yourself and to ease your mind so you can focus on your procedure and recovery. A comprehensive plan is incomplete without details like this.
What to Pack: Clothing
Be sure to pack comfortable clothes that are easy to put on. Choose loose-fitting tops that button up, and avoid tight necklines. Also, ensure that your clothing is appropriate for the time of year. Consider an extra sweater, cozy socks, as well as light layers.
Hotels & Retail
Many patients choose Airbnb, while others opt for hotels. There are several high-quality, safe, and clean hotels that are reasonably priced and located close to our surgery center. We are not affiliated with these establishments, but provide a shortlist for your convenience.
- Lone Star Court
- The Westin Austin at The Domain
- Home2 Suites by Hilton Austin North
- TownePlace Suites Austin Northwest
For shopping and entertainment, we are located near two lovely shopping centers:
- The Domain is an outdoor mall that has upscale shops, department stores, dining, and a cinema.
- The Shops at Arbor Walk is an outdoor shopping center with apparel, accessory retailers, and restaurants.
